Rising to the Challenge
Welcome Home is Boston’s largest and most anticipated event in support of our community’s at-risk older adults.
Now in its 26th year, Rogerson’s premier Gala event brings together our Commonwealth’s leaders and visionaries to raise awareness for the issues facing this vulnerable population.
More than 300 guests are expected to be in attendance, including community and business leaders, philanthropists, corporate sponsors, and local influencers.
The evening will include a cocktail reception with our esteemed guests followed by a sit-down dinner.Proceeds from the Welcome Home Gala will directly support the Rogerson mission.
Rogerson Award
We will award our most prestigious honor, the Charles E. Rogerson Award, to Jeffrey W. Sacks, Senior Counsel at Nixon Peabody, and celebrate both as champions of the Rogerson mission.
Keynote Speaker
Our Keynote Speaker will be National President and CEO of LeadingAge Katie Smith Sloan, who we will also honor for a lifetime of championing older adults across the country.
Gala Emcee
Emmy Award-winning journalist Erika Tarantal of WCVB Channel 5 will be our emcee for the evening. Erika co-anchors WCVB’s NewsCenter 5 at 5PM and 5:30PM and champions the recurring “5 For Good” stories, the station’s ongoing effort to highlight people helping others in communities across Massachusetts.
Live Auction
We anticipate lively bidding as the Gala concludes with our ever-popular live auction featuring exciting destination packages including the South of France, Montreal, Tuscany, Vail, and an Art Basel Weekend in Miami Beach.
