Supporting Ongoing Care and Affordable Housing
The generous contributions of private and family foundations enable Rogerson to provide the highest-quality affordable housing and supportive services for all who need it.
Corporate Philanthropy
More than 160 years ago, Moses Grant championed those in need by providing significant support for destitute older adults. His philanthropic leadership seeded the beginnings of Rogerson Communities.
Today, by making a gift to Rogerson of any amount, you can join the Moses Grant Society and create a similar legacy for yourself by improving the lives of Massachusetts’s most vulnerable and often forgotten older adults. Their struggles continue, as we seek the next generation of legacy leaders. We hope it will include you!
Corporate Volunteering and Co-Branding
Volunteering at any of Rogerson’s residences or adult day health programs is a great way to build your team’s chemistry and impact. Turn any volunteer project into a co-branding opportunity. Examples include:
- Community gardening (purchase branded gardening tools such as gloves or hand tools)
- Painting of walls, external fences, etc.
- Engage with old adults through activities such as puzzles, music, and art projects (bring custom-made puzzles of your logo)
- Potluck celebrations (e.g., join residents in celebrating holidays, birthdays, etc.)
- Other ideas that match your interests and Rogerson’s needs (distribute branded gifts such as picture frames for residents to put photos of the day)
- Other mutually beneficial ideas that will better the life of residents are welcome
Adopt-a-Program
Rogerson Communities has 26 properties with five new developments in the pipeline. We have gifting options from adopting a garden to adopting a building. If you are interested in exploring a deeper engagement, please contact Kelly Knox, 617-469-5839, or email kknox@rogerson.org.
Corporate Giving
Foundation grants ensure Rogerson’s capacity to deliver tailored health and social services for each older adult who attends our adult day health programs. Without such support, Rogerson would be unable to offer special programs, such as music therapy, creative writing, and Rogerson Fitness First, which are critical to participants’ overall well-being and quality of life.
Grants from foundations also support Rogerson’s mission of creating and maintaining affordable housing so that older adults, people with disabilities, and others can continue to live with dignity in their communities. Rogerson is grateful to our supporters for their generous contributions.
Foundation Partner Profile: P&G Gillette

P&G Gillette and Rogerson share many values, such as equality and inclusion, community impact, and sustainability. But the one that stands out the most, because it’s the fuel behind both organizations’ quest to make life better for the greater community, is innovation.
Innovation is what P&G Gillette does best—finding solutions to pressing problems. As the organization innovates, it finds inspiration in people—their needs, values, desires, and passions.
Innovation is also one of the things that Rogerson does best. We love finding collaborative solutions to the housing affordability crisis that older adults face. As we innovate, we, too, find inspiration in people. Philanthropic dollars are vital to Rogerson’s commitment to excellence. Thank you, P&G Gillette, for your many years of support.
