in Grotte is approximately 2 1/2 hours southeast of Rome and
about 1 1/2 hours to Naples and the Amalfi coast. There are
many beautiful day trips you can take from there. Make sure
and get the outdoor market schedule from the locals and try
out your bartering skills. The cottage is a five-minute walk
to the village and about 20 minutes from the region's small,
charming capital Isernia. Also, for nature lovers, there is
a beautiful "Parco
Nazionale d'Abbruzzo" nearby. You would fly direct
either to Rome or Napoli or stop over in London and fly to
Pescara, a city in Abruzzo close to Molise. Click
