Generation Next Catches the Wave!
Members of Generation Next for Rogerson
Communities “caught the wave” Thursday,
March 10, 2005 at Filene’s Curve Wave Beach
Bash, a Caribbean-themed event sponsored by Liz Claiborne,
Mix 98.5, Filene’s and Boston Event Guide to launch
the new Curve Wave fragrance at Filene’s
Downtown Crossing location.
Approximately
100 of Boston’s young professionals attended the event,
which raised money for Rogerson Communities’ Elder Assistance
Fund.
The event
featured the music of the Panorama Calypso Band, hair braiding
by Salon Mark Harris, tropical drinks from the Tiki Room,
Mexican food from Qdoba Mexican Grill, self-tanning by Clarins
and even a surfboard simulator that allowed participants to
feel as if they had surfed right out of Downtown Crossing
and onto a Hawaiian beach!.
Mix 98.5’s
Kelly Malone hosted the event and spoke to the crowd about
Generation Next, a group of 21-40 year-old professionals who
work to fulfill the mission of Rogerson Communities.
Holiday
Gift Drive - A Success!
Thanks
to friends, Generation Next members, and other
supporters for making the Gift Drive at Luna Boston such
a success!
On Thursday,
December 2, 2004, Generation Next hosted an event
at this swanky boutique on Newbury Street. The attendance
was fantastic - allowing the young professionals group to
raise money and collect numerous gifts to benefit the Rogerson
Communities Adult Day Health Programs. Luna Boston also graciously
donated a percentage of the day's proceeds to the cause.
Thanks
to everyone for participation in this fabulous evening!
