Administration
Accounts Payable Staff - full-time, Admin
Related experience in accounting is required. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to work well with deadlines, possess great attention to detail, be very organized, have the ability to prioritize work responsibilities and have good communication skills.
Responsibilities and duties include review of invoices and payment authorizations received from the various sites, data entry of invoices to the accounting system, weekly checks runs, handling vendor inquiries, invoice research, new vendor set up, assistance with annual 1099 preparation, and filing.
Property Accountant - full-time, Admin
Bachelor's degree required, degree in accounting is preferred. Prior relevant experience in real estate accounting is required. Must be deadline sensitive, possess great attention to detail, be very organized, have the ability to multi task and prioritize work responsibilities and have good communication skills.
Responsibilities and duties include full general ledger and bookkeeping activity for multiple properties, preparation of monthly workpaper packages, preparation of annual audit workpaper packages and schedules for tax returns, monthly bank and investment reconciliation, supervise and evaluate performance of Accounts Payable Staff personnel, preparation of schedules for cost certification, preparation of schedules needed for cost report and other duties as assigned.
Roslindale Adult Day Health Program
Registered Nurse - Full-time
Rogerson Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse to work directly with the clients and staff of the Rogerson Roslindale Adult Day Health Program staff providing nursing services and oversight in conjunction with the Assistant Program Manager/RN.
Interested applicants must have a current RN license be experienced in working with a diverse, disabled and aging population, an awareness of health and wellness principles for elders, and a strong team and work ethic is a must.
Rogerson House - Jamaica Plain
Certified Nursing Assistant- Per diem, Part-time and full-time all shifts, weekends included
The primary responsibility of a CNA is to assist residents in ADLs. This includes, but is not limited to, toileting, bathing, dressing, taking vital signs and assessing residents’ need for additional medical attention. Certified Nursing Assistants will also provide residents with reminders and cueing to take medications, under the careful supervision of the Nursing Coordinator. Certified Nursing Assistants will also participate in the recreation program, under the supervision of the Recreation Director.
General qualifications include experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA), a minimum of 2 years direct service experience with the elderly, knowledge of, and/or, 1 year of experience working with people with Alzheimer’s Disease and/or related disorders, sensitivity to issues of aging, the ability to be flexible with scheduling and work assignments, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Hale House – Beacon Hill
Business Manager- full-time
Hale House is seeking a full-time Business Manager with full charge bookkeeper responsibilities to join its team. This position is ideal for a person with an accounting background who can perform independently with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include: Billing, deposits, payables, receivables, payroll processing, account reconciliations and month end report preparation. The Business Manager also works with the property manager to ensure financial accuracy and assists in financial planning and oversight for the agency. Experience with third-party billing, e.g. Medicaid, EAEDC is helpful.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- At least three years previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with Excel and Peach Tree preferred.
Rogerson Egleston Adult Day Health Program – Roxbury
Social Worker- Full-time
The Social Worker will serve as a participant advocate and assist with all admission functions. He or she is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of social service plans for each assigned participant, assuring excellent care, monitoring and follow through by coordinating and overseeing services with other agencies/caregivers and by continuously evaluating all service and care plans to see that needed services are received.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in social work or human services from an accredited college and at least one years' recent experience working with adults in a professional capacity. Must possess sensitivity to the needs of low income older adults. Able to work cooperatively as a multi-disciplinary team member with all aspects of the daily operations. Interested applicants must be experienced in working with a diverse, disabled and aging population, an awareness of participant rights, willingness to work as a team player serving the best interest of the participants. CPR, FA certified helpful but will train. CORI, PPD and physician screening required.
