Adult
Day Center -
Roslindale
Director
of Activities
Full-time
Plan and implement monthly activities in Adult Day Center
and dementia programs, appropriate to interest and capabilities
of participants. Requires bachelor's degree in Recreational
Therapy, Gerontology or a related field, or an associate's
degree plus relevant experience.
Driver
Per diem
Safely transport participants to and from the Adult Day
Center. Valid state driver's license, safe driving record
and experience driving a multi-passenger vehicle required.
Program
Assistant
Per diem
Provide participants with assistance in the activities
of daily living. Assist program nurses and social worker in
implementing participant care plans. Lead or assist in activities
as planned.
Rogerson
House - Jamaica Plain
Recreation
Assistants
Per diem
Plan and facilitate activities for residents with Alzheimer's
and dementia.
Certified
Nursing Assistants
Per diem
Experienced personal care aides who enjoy working with
elders and helping them to maintain their independence. Certification
required.
Rogerson
Communities manages several facilities for other non-profits
where not all staff members are Rogerson employees. The following

Springhouse
Activities
Coordinator
Full-time
Responsible for developing and conducting group activities
for Springhouse's residents with Alzheimer's and dementia
in art, music, intellectual and physical domains. Dementia
experience, commitment to the elderly, initiative and teamwork
are important.
